Notes: Fortress remains. Mud brick with cobble foundations. Probably Islamic, but some Pre-Islamic looking sherds found, too. Plaster walls can be seen poking through the rubble. Square structure. Perhaps had turrets, based on the curvature at the west end of its south wall. Tallest wall (north) stands over three meters high. On the scree, about 40 meters over the nearest field (which, itself, is cut into the alluvium).
